Take this with a grain of salt, but here is something I found on the interwebs today.

New about Battlefield 6

The next installment in the Battlefield franchise is set to be revealed at the Summer Game Fest hosted by Geoff Keighley . Battlefield 6 is to be the largest game in the series with 100 v 100 game modes with the largest, most destructible maps ever seen in gaming, classes will return and players will be able to customize their character similar to what you can do in Battlefield V.

>The story it’s set during a modern civil war in America.

>Game will release early October this year.

IMO without a doubt I think it will be revealed during EA Play around May/June and then we’ll most likely get a deep dive with dev interviews during Summer of Games Fest hosted by Geoff Keighley

Yeah, those timelines kinda make sense for me also. So I think we will see the “teaser” in March, but no real ‘meat’ until at least EA PLay

We don’t want BFV classes, we want BF3 -BF4 classes back. If you guys wants to make extra money from microtransctions, then do what Modern Warfare did and make gun skins and player models that obviously suit the theme of the game.

I am pretty sure we are going to see a return of classes similar to what we had in Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4. They have already hinted, that there is a ‘soft reboot’ of BF3 coming.

That being said, nothing has been confirmed yet, so it is more of a hope than a sure thing,
